Day25: Identifying Logical Fallacies

Objectives: We will be able to...
• Name six common logical fallacies
• Recognize why logical fallacies are not logical
• Find logical fallacies in a text
• Refrain from using logical fallacies in their writing





Warm up & Defining Logical Fallacies (15min)
Team up with another student of an opposite color and the same number.
Discuss and determine why the sentences you have are NOT so logical. 
Discuss with class. Make a list of the reasons on the board.

Read the article: Where the Girls Aren't again. Annotate as you read it.
Download the Pre-Rhetorical Analysis Chart for your homework.
Name the file "Pre-RA Chart for Pro_Article_YOURNAME"


Save it into your Unit 3. subfolder in the Google Drive.
