Writer's Help is an eBook, required by UIUC ESL Writing Service Courses. You are required to purchase the access to this ebook by the 2nd class of the course. Failure to purchase to this book will result in a loss of your score for participation/homework. I do NOT want to see it happen. Please read the following and take action now!


2. How to Purchase?
You will need to purchase an activation code in order to create a Writer's Help account.

The activation code can be purchased at the bookstores or directly from the Bedford/St. Martin website: http://pages.mail.bfwpub.com/WritersHelp/Student_Ordering_Info/
You can purchase the eBook from the UIUC bookstore website; you do not need to physically go to the UIUC Bookstore. Please remember that there are price differences between Bedford/St. Martin and the UIUC Bookstore and that you should compare both before purchasing. Although you have the option of purchasing 2-year or 4-year access, you are required to purchase 4-year access so that you can get help from the ebook throughout your college life.


3. How to Get Access and Register

How to Get Access to Writer’s Help

When you login for the first time, you will need to enter your first name, your last name, your e-mail address, and your instructor’s e-mail address in the text fields.
Entering the instructor’s e-mail address allows you to view any tags, notes, or new content that the instructor adds for the class. It also allows the instructor to grade and give students credit for assigned activities. Your performance on the website will be evaluated and included in your final grade.

Once you have registered with the activation code for the first time, in the future, you will be able to log in with your e-mail address and password; you will not need the activation code again.
