Day2: Diagnostic Essay Writing

The result of diagnostic test will NOT affect your final score, 

but it will help me figure out what we should cover during semester. 

Don't be afraid! Just do your BEST!

1. Attendance Check!

2. Log into computers with NetID and password.

3. NO Internet access while writing your diagnostic essay.
    Of course NO cell phones!

4. Use MS Word. Make sure it is double-spaced.
    Name the file "Diagnostic_YourNetID."

5. Read the article and an essay prompt. Do NOT write anything on the prompt.
     Instead, you can use scratch paper if you want to write something or make an outline. You should return the scratch paper along with the prompt after completing the essay.

6. Write an essay! You can use the scratch paper if you want to write something.

7. Make sure you upload the file into the Dropbox folder shared with me. 

Once you have uploaded the file, please come to me and make sure it is there on my computer.

8. ONLY after you upload the essay in Dropbox folder and return the prompt paper and scratch paper may you leave the room. Otherwise, you are not allowed to leave.

Homework 1.1 due Aug. 29th, Thursday, 11:59PM
